Institute of Equine Hydrotherapists Registered Equine Hydrotherapist

What this means for your pet

An IEH-tagged practitioner is qualified specifically in equine hydrotherapy, holds appropriate insurance, and is bound by IRVAP's Code of Conduct with annual CPD requirements. As with all IRVAP members, the practitioner can be verified on the IRVAP public register.

About this accreditation

The Institute of Equine Hydrotherapists (IEH) is the equine hydrotherapy sub-group of IRVAP and is described by IRVAP as an industry first for the equine hydrotherapy profession. IEH does not maintain a separate public register — members are listed on the shared IRVAP register and identified by their equine hydrotherapy specialism.

Who can hold this accreditation

Members must hold a recognised equine hydrotherapy qualification (such as the Level 4 Diploma in Applied Equine Hydrotherapy) and meet IRVAP's insurance and CPD standards. Membership is granted via IEH's accredited registration process.
