A Category 2 member is a qualified veterinary physiotherapist with a full degree who is building their professional experience with mentoring support from more experienced colleagues.

About this accreditation

Category 2 NAVP members hold a BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Physiotherapy and are newer to practice. They receive mentoring and support from experienced Category 1 members while developing their skills.

Who can hold this accreditation

Must hold a minimum BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Physiotherapy. New applicants join at this level.

Yes — legally required under the Veterinary Surgeons (Exemptions) Order 2015.
