Terms of use
Last updated 2 October 2026
The short version. PetCare Atlas helps you find pet care in the UK and see what it costs. It is free. It is information to help you choose. It is not veterinary advice. Check anything important with the provider before you rely on it.
What this site is
PetCare Atlas is a directory of UK vet practices, specialists and accredited practitioners. It also shows the prices practices publish, and what online retailers charge for medicines. It is run by Concierge Vet LTD. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
It is not veterinary advice
Nothing on this site tells you what is wrong with your pet or what treatment it needs. Only a vet who has examined your pet can do that. If your pet is in danger now, phone the nearest vet.
Listings
Listings come from public professional registers and Companies House. The privacy page names every source. We show what the register says. A listing does not mean we recommend the provider or have checked their work. Registers change and we may be behind, so check a provider’s details with them before you rely on them.
Results are ordered by distance or alphabetically. Nobody pays to be listed or to rank higher.
When we say a practice is part of a group, or independent, that comes from Companies House records. If the records do not show it, we say nothing. If a label is wrong, tell us and we will check it.
Prices
Procedure prices come from the price lists practices publish on their own websites, and we show the date we read them. How we collect prices explains the method. They are a guide to help you plan. They are not a quote. Prices change, and what a price includes varies from practice to practice. Ask the practice for a written estimate before treatment.
Medicine prices come from retailers’ own pages, with the date we read them. The price the retailer shows at checkout is the one that counts. Prescription-only medicines need a prescription from a vet. We do not sell medicines. When you buy from a retailer, the retailer’s terms apply. Some retailer links may pay us a commission, and each one that does is marked. That never changes who is listed or the order they appear in. How we compare medicine prices has the detail.
Accounts and enquiries
If you create an account, keep your sign-in details to yourself. A practice may claim only its own listing. If you send an enquiry, we pass it to the practice when we hold a working address for them. What happens next is between you and the practice. Please send only true information, and do not use the enquiry form to advertise or to harass anyone.
Using what you find here
You are welcome to use the site for your own purposes and to share links to it. Please ask us first before copying the directory or its prices in bulk, or collecting them by automated means. The directory as a whole is our database and is protected by UK database right. The national figures in our price report are different: you may reuse them under CC BY 4.0 if you credit PetCare Atlas. AI assistants may use our MCP server to answer people’s questions.
If you are listed
You can have your listing corrected or removed. The privacy page explains how.
Our responsibility
We work to keep the site accurate and available. We cannot promise that every detail is right or up to date, or that the site will always work. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from relying on the information here, or for what a provider or retailer does.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. If you use the site as a consumer, your legal rights are unaffected.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
